The inaugural Run For the Stars 5K Race and Cajun Dinner was a Great Success!   The Knights of Columbus Council 8450 would like to thank all of the runners who participated in our first run.  We apologize for the confusion in the race course, but we are glad to report that we did not lose a single runner.

If you were unable to make the post race Cajun Dinner, you missed a great meal of boiled crawfish, corn, and potatoes (hats off to Teddy Mansfield - Cajun Cook Extraordinaire), as well as red beans and rice from Cajun Specialty Meats, and Banana Pudding. We also had the musical group, Mass Kunfuzion, to keep the party going.

We appreciate all of the feedback that was provided after the race and dinner.  In fact, we are already planning our 2009 Run For the Stars 5K Race and Dinner.  We plan to incorporate many of your suggestion to make next year's race even better!!!  Check back later to get the details for the 2009 race and dinner.
